San Diego: A. was so excited to ride the first roller coaster of the trip at Sea World! J. not too sure about the flamingoes: they WERE looking a bit suspicious that day... M. at the beach loving the seaweed and all 5 enjoying the aquarium. Thanks for letting us stay with you, Rands!
Universal Studios: Interesting! But, definitely a one time thing for us. The boys really enjoyed the transformers ride and we all loved the waterworld show. We almost didn't go to it, but it was great! While on the studio tour bus we saw members of the cast of the TV show "the Office" several times including the actors who play Ryan, Kelly and the new annoying British chick (can't remember her name). "Ryan" seemed pleased to be recognized and looked right a me (Kristen), raising an eyebrow to flirt a little. It seems he's just like the character on TV! Rogue! He's on the phone in the shot below...
Disneyland: L. getting brave with her feather. She was a bit apprehensive about any ride that went fast, high or had a drop, but we managed to get her on nearly everything her height qualified her for at least once. She surprised us in the end when she really loved Space Mountain. I thought that would be the worst of all, but she wanted to go again!
Turns out dollar store glow sticks satisfy that glowy toy need just as well as all the useless expensive stuff they sell when it gets dark in the Magic Kingdom. They make great 'staches too!
California Adventure: gotta love monsters! We took up the back row on Tower of Terror. A. braved it again! After getting stuck on California Screamin' for 1/2 hour (which A. LOVED and went on twice), our World of Color viewing was upgraded and we got some lovely family fastpass tickets. Nice!
Whirlwind trip. Everyone was tuckered out each night, but happy. So glad we went!
Thinking we Carpenters need a t-shirt for next time, maybe something like this:
Love me some Disney!!

stumbled on your blog and realized you are taking advantage of all the wonderful places that are just right here in my neck of the woods--it's funny how when you live somewhere you don't take advantage of all the great things around you...thanks for the fun reminder! We really need to go do Disneyland...there is just no place like it huh?!
Come on over and follow along my colorful blog...I think you'd really like it (but maybe I'm a little bias?! haha)
