Miracles

I believe in miracles.  I believe I've just witnessed one large miracle or many smaller ones, take your pick.  A good 1/3 of our stake was manditory evacuated during this fire.  Many more including us left in fear.  Most were able to return to homes still standing last night or earlier.  The fire line goes right up to the back yard of so many, including some dear friends and our Stake President.  Officials observing from a helicopter that night estimated at least 100 homes lost.  The end result was 3.  Miracle.  No less a miracle for the many brave men who risked their lives and made it possible.
General Conference last April- President Boyd K. Packer:
"You have the power of the priesthood directly from the Lord to protect your home.  There will be times when all that stands as a shield between your family and the adversary's mischief will be that power."
I believe that is exactly what has just happened.  I know it is.  I am so grateful.
